Labour conditions at Chinese Factories in Africa and China

What do workers employed by some Chinese companies in Africa and China have in common? And why are working conditions bad? The same reason as always: it is cheaper to have people work under bad conditions, and if you are an employer indifferent to the lives of others, than you stand to profit from bad working conditions.

China and Chinese companies need to raise their standards. In the short term the worker will suffer, but in the longer term, China will.
