While this is the main place I post things, I also post to a number of other blogs and websites. Here they are listed, with some notes, including how active they are.
Active blogs and tumblrs and websites
blm849.wordpress.com – I found that I wanted to post ideas vs posting links (which I mainly do on smartPeopleIKnow.com. Inspired by my old posterous blog (which you can still find here), I created blm849 at wordpress. It’s active.
whatisthisbernie.wordpress.com – This….was a visual blog that was active for sometime. A nice photo album now. Reactivating.
whatsBernieEating.tumblr.com – this is a fun tumblr of food posts. I did it partially because I mainly post this stuff on Instagram and Instagram is a website I don’t want to depend on. Occasionally active.
berniemichalikcooking.wordpress.com – mostly focused on recipes and food. Somewhat active.
BLMonIT.tumblr.com – this tumblr is where I post ideas on IT. It’s somewhat active.
berniemichalik.ca – this is my main “shingle” site that provides a brief bio and points to other sites. I update it from time to time.
berniemichalik.com – this is an web site where I post technical experiments, etc. Occasionally updated. Two thinks of note on that site are the web pages with all my IT links and all my food and cooking links. I decided to put those IT and food links there because I have so many of them, blogging about them is practically overwhelming. I may highlight some of those links from time to time, but if you want to see my IT and food interests, go there.
Instagram.com/bernie_michalik – I still post somewhat actively on Instagram.
bsky.app/profile/berniemichalik.ca – same with BlueSky. I no longer have accounts on X.com or Facebook or most other social media sites.
flickr.com – Occasionally I will post things on flickr. It goes from being active to dormant, depending on if I need its features or not.

howtofeedyourselfinthe21stcentury.wordpress.com -I want to write an ebook called, How to Feed Yourself in the 21st Century. Maybe I will some day. Not active. edithdrivescrapbook.blogspot.com – a site I was posting drawings. It’s fairly dormant, for now. berniemichalik.art.blog – visual arts blog I started but gave up on. themindinwinter.wordpress.com – The Mind in Winter was an idea blog. Dormant. wtbi.wordpress.com – What’s the Big Idea? was another idea blog. Dormant. TheWiresInTheWallsAreHumming.tumblr.com – an old tumblr of mostly random stuff that I want to keep around. berniemichalik.tumblr.com – Likely want to delete this one – it was a collection of things. smartpeopleiknow.tumblr.com – Just points to my main blog and squats on this tumblr address. Blmatibm.tumblr.com – Very old and small – picture focused – don’t think I can delete. sundayart.tumblr.com – from 2012. Still fun, still around.
