How not to reward yourself after a difficult task is to immediately move on after you do it. That’s what I would do, and later I would wonder why I always had to use some much effort to do it.
What I try to do now is to take time after the task to savour my accomplishment. I think positively about what I did and reward myself with positive talk. If that sounds dumb, ask yourself: do you “reward” yourself afterwards with negative self talk? Because THAT is dumb. (Also neutral talk is not much better: it’s the “bread and water” of self talk). If we are constantly doing Negative Self-Talk, we are actually doing Bad Data Training to the AI model in our head. Do not be surprised if the result of the prediction is always: ‘you will fail’. It’s time to change the dataset to ‘Positive Reward’ so that the accuracy of happiness rises to 99%!”kaeena turns out our brains are not Stateless machines. If we don’t give HTTP 200 OK (self-reward) after a difficult task, the brain will assume the connection is 404 Not Found. Finally every time there is a new task, my brain CPU instead chooses to Timeout rather than hard work again.”
Very true!
