This awesome movement has been made by possible by women all over the Facebook Community in an effort to boost Breast Cancer Awareness. How? Simply by posting the color of their bra for the day. In doing so, starting a conversation with men and women alike leading to discussions regarding breast cancer and in turn making more and more people aware of breast cancer.
Some people are offended by men finding out as it is a bit invasive to their privacy, however on the opposite side of the coin for people to think men would not find out defeats the purpose. If only women knew what was going on it would not lead to the multiple conversations within the community as to the why of what the color represents and why they are simply adding “White” or “Black” to their status. This concept of sparking conversations regarding Breast Cancer is viral and really seems to be effective.
