Now THIS is a Bike Tour that I can get excited about

If you are a lover of cycling and cake, and you are in Toronto, then you might want to consider a new event: the Tour de Dufflet. As the site explains, participants will…

“Get a little exercise and something sweet by cycling to all 3 Dufflet retail café locations in one day. Registered participants will receive a souvenir gift, something sweet and other goodies by cycling to each Dufflet cafe and having their Tour de Dufflet Passport stamped when they arrive.”

Registration fee is merely $5 and it goes to charity. What’s not to like? Did I mention something sweet? And not just any ole sweet, but something sweet from Dufflet. Sweet! 🙂

Excited?  Check out their site for the details.

  1. It looks like a lot of fun , and well organized.
It was nice to hear on French CBC radio what’s happening in Toronto, like Anthony Hopkins’s painting exhibition in Mississauga and the restaurant Conviction http://www.convictionrestaurant.com/ but they missed that gastronomic tour bike.

    1. It does look like a great event! The stores are far enough apart to make it something of a challenge. You get to see three very different parts of the city. And you get to eat at Dufflet (always a good thing!)

I hadn’t heard of Conviction, but I have heard of Marc Thuet (very famous chef in Toronto). It should be worth a visit, for sure.

Glad you enjoy CBC radio! What did you draw when you were listening to it? (Radio and drawing is a good combination, I believe. :))

  2. I was driving…and I can’t listen to talks when I am drawing, just music.
I liked the fact that Toronto was interesting to the French Montreal.

    1. 🙂 Yes, I would discourage driving and drawing!

There are alot of Montrealers in Toronto and Ontario, I would suspect. And Montreal is interesting even to those who aren’t from Montreal.
