On Iran, CNN, and #CNNfail

As fallout from the elections in Iran continues, a side debate is occurring around the role of mainstream media and in particular, the role of CNN. As you can see from the title of this article in the NYTimes.com: Dear CNN, Please Check Twitter for News About Iran, CNN (or at least CNN.com) has had poor coverage of the events in Iran. Indeed, not only is alot of information about Iran being sent around on sites like twitter as well as many blogs, but condemnation of CNN has also been happening at the same time.
