To me, it has all the “majesty” of “Moonlight Sonata”, and all the simplicity & beauty of ” Ave Maria”. Its simple melodic structure is haunting & compelling much in the same way as Gorecki’s Symphony of Sorrowful Songs (3rd Movement)
which evokes feelings of empathy & rapture .
